About PINE by Provested

Practical IT support backed by secure engineering and clear standards.

PINE stands for Provested Integrated Network Engineering. We are building a managed IT service focused on helping small to medium businesses improve the reliability, security, and consistency of their technology.

Who we are

A young team with deep support experience and senior backup behind it.

PINE is part of Provested, an IT company that supports the Department of Education — delivering IT support to primary and high schools. We are a fresh team, and we are honest about that: our strongest ground is Level 1, 2 and 3 support and networking, which covers the vast majority of day-to-day business IT.

For work beyond that — deeper infrastructure, specialist projects, or higher-tier engineering — we escalate to experienced people within Provested. You get responsive frontline support with real expertise behind it.

Our motto is Change. We are not here to keep environments the same; we are here to leave them more organised, better documented, and more secure than we found them.

Our approach

Support today. Improve for tomorrow.

Good managed IT should solve immediate problems while reducing the chance that the same problems keep returning.

01

Practical Support

We focus on clear communication, useful troubleshooting, and solutions that make sense for the size, budget, and risk profile of the client.

02

Security by Default

Identity, MFA, least privilege, endpoint protection, patching, backup, segmentation, and secure administration are considered part of responsible IT.

03

Clear Documentation

Network maps, asset registers, procedures, warranty information, access records, and onboarding notes reduce confusion and help support become faster and safer.

04

Long-Term Improvement

We aim to move clients from reactive support toward stable systems, proactive maintenance, stronger security, and planned technology investment.

Why PINE

One support relationship across users, devices, cloud, networks, and security.

Technology problems rarely stay inside one category. An email issue may involve identity, licensing, DNS, security, or a device configuration. A Wi-Fi issue may involve switching, VLANs, authentication, cabling, or endpoint settings.

PINE is designed to look across the full environment, document dependencies, escalate specialist work when needed, and maintain a single support process.

Who we support

Built for organisations that depend on technology but need clearer support.

Small & Medium Businesses

Teams that need reliable support across Microsoft 365, devices, users, printers, Wi-Fi, security, and business applications.

Professional Services

Accounting, recruitment, legal, real estate, consulting, and office-based organisations that rely on secure access and consistent productivity.

Education & Training

Schools, training providers, tutoring businesses, and learning environments that require structured device, identity, network, and support processes.

Health & Community Services

Practices and service providers that need strong privacy awareness, controlled access, secure devices, backups, and dependable systems.

Our service model

Onsite, hybrid or remote — human-supported and properly documented.

Remote Support

Most user, Microsoft 365, software, endpoint, and account issues can be investigated remotely, helping reduce delays and unnecessary travel.

Hybrid & Full-Time Onsite

We also work on site. That can be scheduled onsite days alongside remote support, or a dedicated PINE engineer based in your office full time.

Onsite Support

Onsite work is used when the issue requires physical access, such as hardware, printers, switches, Wi-Fi access points, cabling coordination, or deployments.

Specialist Escalation

High-risk firewall, server, cloud, cybersecurity, compliance, and migration work should be handled by appropriately experienced specialists.
